Is there a way I can force AGPx1 in Windows 2000 with a G400Max?

There's an easier way than hacking the registry!

I'll do a case swap with you!

My card only runs at 1x, but if I put it into a different PC, it runs at 2x.

What do you think?

What MOBO do you have? Mine is a K7M, and setting agp to 1x solved some of my problems in win 98 (bootup screen only showing strange lines). After running win 2000 for a week, the same problem emerged, and therefore I think its the same problem. Unfortunately the registry keys are different under win 2000, so I can't just reapply the old hack.
