Matrox G400DH and Abit KA7/100 ?

Is this a good combination ? i saw in other topics that there where some problems with the combination Matrox/VIA. Anuway i ordered the above, so was this a mistake ?

Depends on what you want. If you're looking for the most FPS possible in OpenGL games, then no, it's not a good buy.

If you're looking for a fast machine that plays OpenGL games OK with a little hacking, then you're fine.

I love my G400/KA7, now that I got everything to run correctly.
