Worth getting v6.0 beta drivers for my G400 (non-MAX; 32 MB)?

Is it worth getting this 6.0 beta? Is it buggy? Any conflicts with games, DVD players, etc.? Does the TurboGL driver support Soldier of Fortune yet? Tia.

First off antdude, what do you think Beta stands for?

But I've tried a couple of games and apps, and besides the Matrox Tweak Utility not working anymore and probable secret info in the installation files of the drivers, everything works okay here.

Just test them on your machine, and if you have problems, revert back to older drivers.

Yeah, but it could be a stable beta . I read a lot of good feedbacks about it and some negatives. Hmm!

I find those beta to be much better than the other drivers. I'd recommend them anyday over the other ones!!

Okay, still waiting for more feedbacks before I go home to download and install!

Try them, you can always switch back if you have the uninstaller utility.

They work a treat, and have solved all my VIA problems so far.
I havent checked out DVD yet but everything else works apart from texture degradation after an hours of play (could be my processor as I think I overdid the overclocking if u know what I mean)
TurboGL works again now but isnt much faster than standard ICD speeds. D3D speeds are definately up. I got a big increase in 3dMark2000 more than 10% infact.
