    G200 PCI questions

Fore various reasons I need a G200 Pci. And I thought that someone here just might know the answers to some questions that I have.

    · Is the G200 Pci Acpi compliant?
    · Does the G200 Pci only come in SD-ram flavour?
    · Is the G200 Pci 8 mb version capable of handling 1600x1200x32 at 85 or 90 Hz without any serious hit on speed?
    · Is there a driver for Win2k that includes the PowerDesk tools?

    Thank you
    SK

My G200 (4 MB) will only do 80 Hz at 16x12. I don't think the extra RAM in your card will make a difference in this parameter.

Brian, how come your G200 has only 4Mb? I thought they didn't have that flavour. Or you must've done something wrong to it that it has 4Mb?

85 Hz will usualy only be obtained with SGRAM... you will most likely not have it with SDRAM.

                SK.

                1) Like Alec 99% sure that it's ACPI compliant.

                2) Most G200 PCI (If not all) come ONLY in SDRAM flavours.

                3) Just tested this right now, my Marvel G200 PCI (With all the bells and whistles) can go 1600x1200x32 at 85hz. Too bad my monitor can't take it though .

                4) I don't use W2K yet, so I don't know. Though the others seem to say there is, so I'd take it there is.
