Anyone able to run G400Max with dual CPU's (MSI 694D)

    Hi:

I'm almost got the bugs out of my new system (. I just can't seem to run my G400Max with busmastering on in Win2K and two CPU's.

    Any insight?

    Thanks,

    Hank

Hi. Does single CPU work in W2k??
Which HAL are you using for W2k, MPS Multiprocessor or ACPI multiprocessor? How about a list of the IRQ assignment?
With W2k multiprocessing, the IRQ scheme is different from the legacy dual-8259 chained IRQ. I am interested to see how this mobo work with G400.

Yes it does run in single CPU mode. I've tried MPS and ACPIA (?) but in both cases all my cards where issued virtual IRQ's so posting them wouldn't help.

Do post your IRQ list, I would like to know about that if that doesn't bother you too much, thanks.

When you have single CPU in W2k, do you still get assigned virtual IRQ??
