G200 Marvel & Beta 6.04 drivers
I have the infamous Win98SE shutdown problems I've read about in many posts. I've tried the newest Via drivers with no success. Can I use the Beta 6.04 drivers with the G200 Marvel (assuming I use the install.inf file from the 5.55 drivers)?

Hi,
remove all matrox files, install the via 4-in-1 (ver.: 4.24a) and then install the matrox drivers anew.
The beta 6.xx drivers are not for the G200 cards.
Also, go to start, go to run, type in MSCONFIG and press Enter, click on Advanced (under General) and check off "Disable Fast Shutdown" (if the option is there) and restart system when prompted.
