gamma-correction on 2nd display

how do i change the gamma- and colour-ccorrections for the 2nd monitor (dual-head)? on my 1st display it is working properly.

You can't adjust it with software for the second head.
The only color adjustment you can do on the second head is whatever the monitor itself can do.

Your monitor (if it's worth a darn) should have those controls built onto it, why not use them?

no, it's an older one (HewlettPackard 4033A), and you can only chose a red profile or a more red one.

I have this HP monitor as well (but no G400 Dual-Head); it is an OEM version of Sont GDM20E01. I bought it second-hand, and when I first set it up, occassionaly there would be a reddish cast over the whole image, which seemed to depend on how the video cable was placed behind the monitor. But after a lot of trouble, I found that the problem was caused by a poor quality video cable: one (or more) of the BNC connector signal wires was slightly loose and had only partial contact. Replacing the whole video cable with a second, higher quality new one solved the reddish cast problem.

Anyway, try wiggling the BNC wires where they join the main cable--VERY, VERY GENTLY!!!!--and see if the colour balance changes on the monitor. If it does, then you may have a BNC wire contact problem.

didn't help. it's not very red at all. i would say it's a normal balance, but i like it more blue. i wanna know if altering the *.icm file would change anything?
