    Can I turn TV on without restarting Windows?

    I've heard that Chrontel's TV-out on Asus 6800 delux was permanently damaged when TV was connected while Windows working.
    Can I boot Windows while TV is off, and turn TV on without restarting Windows? Does it damage G450?

    My grafics card is Millenium G450 32M DDR DH
