followup: dual head - win2000 - programming

this is a follow up question to a previous one i asked:

i have win 2000 & g400 max

i have my 2nd (800x600 max) monitor plugged in along side my primary (1280x1024) monitor

i havent enabled or setup any dual head properties (never used b4)

what exactly do i need to do to be able to use the second monitor as a useful accessory to programming in visual c++ - eg debugging on the second monitor??
