messed up symbols when changing color depths

im not sure whether its the 6.50 drivers, but whenever i change desktop color depth from 16 to 32 bit, the symbols of the running applications in the taskbar are messed up. its not that much of a problem (i dont change desktop color depth that often), but i would like to know if anyone else experienced it and if anyone knows what it might be...
