Possible to play DVD spanned across 2 monitors?

Couldn't find a similar post in the forums, so here I go:

Is it possible to play a DVD stretched across 2 monitors? When I tried it with normal dualhead only the primary monitor would play it. I just got a nice new Viewsonic PF790 for secondary, so it would be usefull

you can not use overlay on 2 independant desktops at the same time. And I think that every mpeg2 decoder filter/program needs overlay for playback (not sure though)
