As Rags said, the break-out cable (dongle) for G450 won't work on G400
You can purchase the proper cable for G400 from Matrox's on-line store.

Dongle? Hmm, I had it in my head it would be some kind of daughterboard. Ahwell...I'll hafta wait until they get some new cables.

There are no daughterboards for G4x0 cards.
There was a DVD decoder db for G200, but that will not fit on G4x0.
And as stated above, the break-out cables are not interchangable from G400 to G450.

but the DVD addon is fittable on a RRG, which you can connect to the G400... though I don't know if this will actually work in the G400 driver stuff (Win2k won't work with it for sure)
