    Weird crash in Mozilla

I made a webpage of it, with "screenshots".

    Any ideas?

Seems to happen in other programs too. I updated that page with more shots and even some video.

Is my good old G400 total goner?

Why would it be a G400 fault? Have you tried posting this same thing as a bug in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ ??

I am using Mozilla myself, but my system will indefinately be different from yours. Try posting it as a bug on Bugzilla and if they say it's your videocard, come back here

I first thought that it only happens in Mozilla, but since it now occured in SecureCRT too, it looks like that it is G400's fault. Looks like memory-corruption (memory-refresh missing for a short while?) to me. Definately doesn't look like normal software-bug.

I checked your profile in the link above. I see you're running AGP2x...
Did you ever try to run your G400 at AGP1x ?? (You can do so through the Matrox Tech Support Tweak Utility )

It could make your system more stable. Plus the difference between 1x and 2x is neglicable.

AGP 1x fixed that problem with G400. Now I have switched to R8500, which runs just fine with AGP 2x on the same motherboard.
