Hacking drivers: how to run Marvel G400 TV with latest drivers

Well I suppose everyone has noticed that the latest 5.82 drivers installs flawlessly on Marvel G400, without any modification!

Will it run the TV and capture though?

Of course, TV tuner and capture capabilities are present.
(or has nothing to do with the drivers, as I think)
Provided you install VideoTools 2.04 (or even 2.10 for G450 like me)

Whatever, capture is no longer accessible through PC-VCR,

To capture, you need a third party video authoring software like VirtualDub or Premiere...

I'm running XP Pro with driver 5.82 and VT 210a. Works fine for me, no special config needed. Just run the setups for each.

Well, I am one of the ones that can't install the tools.

Need a wise installation for vt210a. Is there such a thing?

g400 marvel works with g450 xp driver?

So is this has been tested and the capture works? That we can use the marvel g450tv windows xp driver with a marvel g400 card?

Because if this is correct, then my day is made.
