What about single head G450 LX?
I'm looking for a replacement for my aging STB TNT 16MB video card.
shopmatrox has the single head G450 LX for $49.95. It has 16MB of DDR SDRAM and as far as I can tell in all other aspects it is the dual head card with the dual head function disabled (but can be re-enabled with the dual head software kit).
I don't game (but my daughter does minimal gaming, i.e.,
Rollercoaster), I do mostly business app and web development type stuff. I don't need the dual head or DVD or TV out functions.
What do you think? Is there any reason why I shouldn't get this card?
