empty TV-Out connector on G400-Board?

    empty TV-Out connector on G400-Board?

    Hi,

    on my G400 there is an empty TV-connector between the VGA-Out. Did anyone ever try, if it is usable for TV-Out? So that there is no need for the Cableadapter?
    I never tried something because of loosing warrenty, but warrenty is over in a month.

    Any suggestions?

      My card has the same thing. I havent attempted to connect a TV to it though. However i did follow the trace on the board, and it appears all the electronic compoenents are on the board, so i assume it would work. you just need to solder a plug there, or just directly solder a wire

              ... so, the TV-Out ´onboard´ is working, but is has to be enabled by connecting the original cable.
              can someone post the structure of the cable? seems to me that searching the forum is disabled. Why is that?
