    Very few used either chips for the desktop, both were lousy for OCing and that's where it ended.

      ...no, no hw override on locked cpu. Don't know if it'd work after a pin job. I just put the gadget out there. Don't know if it works on other boards, cpus, etc. Thats why I posted the link, to check it out yo' self.
      How can you possibly take anything seriously?

        had a k6 3+ 450 that ran at 600 thats quite reasonable.

        I checked that link, it does say it can change the multiplier!!!
