well the 8mb S3 card on my office comp. finallly died (thank God!)
now i need to order a new video card.
2D quality is most important obviously. usage will be for Office apps. lots of Excell sheets and Word, as well as Visio drawings.

is the 2D of the G450 (OEM) the same quality as that of the G550? (these are the choices my fav retailer offers).
..although I'm thinking of playing some RPG on the card as well (hehe...company is my own business and I always have to stay until ungodly hours)...so will the G550 be faster & better in this situation?
sorry for the n00b question, I haven't had a Matrox card since my Mystique.
