      these are old drivers!

      just whql-certified i think
      my system:

      AMD XP 2000+
      Abit KTA7 (VIA 4.49)
      512MB SDRAM133
      Matrox Millennium G400 MAX (5.91, AGP 2x)
      Windows XP Prof

        no, just re-released!?

        5.86.032 was released on aug/29 and it was whql this time

        i don't understand this!!!
        my system:

          yea... that's what i thought... 5.86 was already released like few months ago... btw there are 5.87 ones... you can find them under MMS cards. they also support normal G-cards.

          p.s. does anybody know what this revision has fixed?

            With Matrox G4x0/550 W2K driver version 5.84, 5.86, I have already had bad luck with them. Once the system's uptime reaches 1 or 2 days, the system always dies. There is no display on the screen, all background jobs stop working including the network transaction, and the keyboard is not responded. In other words, the system has entirely hanged up. The same problem happens to my P4-1.5/1.6A/2.4B + i845D or i845G system + G400DH or G550 installed.

            With G4x0/550 W2k driver 5.72 or 5.82, the system uptime is always more than 10 days without any crash issue on my machine. (At least this is a good news for me...)

            Thus I wonder if the latest version of Matrox W2K driver has really passed the extreme long running test...?
