I found some pics of P-750, the PCB layout looks rather like a cost-reduced Parhelia.

English translation with Babel Fish confirms my previous prediction that the new chip is a stepped down Parhelia, like the G450 to G400. Pixel pipelines have been reduced to 2, 256bit DDR memory bus was reduced to 128bit DDR, blah blah. I would say the specs are NOT good at all.

The same thing happened after the announcement of Parhelia. Matrox's news section at the website is not well updated.

I'm not quite sure about the AGP connector, but it looks like a 4x/8x only connector.
For a 1x/2x connector the smaller tab is at the other end of the edge.

Good to see some news from Matrox. Now that we have the specs, can anybody tell me if it would be a good replacement for my G400max ???
I'd like to be able to play some more games on my PC, my G400max is getting too old for this. I won't play much, I just need games to run @1024*768 or more with good details.
I wanted to play Indinan Jones and the Emperor's Tomb but it requires hardware T&L on the graphic card :/

Just becuase a site puts up our announcement before we do can also mean they can't read what time they were told to put it up.

I afraid its performance is not good enough for gaming. Even my Radeon8500 with a PIII-S 1.4GHz cannot play recent games with an acceptable framerate @ 1024*768.
But anyway I am happy to see it as a replacement for the old G400 Max installed in my ICS server.

No... i am not talking about the tab.

All the AGP 4X/8X cards has two "notch" on the AGP connector, while the 2X/1X has only one... however, the pics have 2 notches... weird
