The latest drivers

I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on how important it is to have the patest drivers for graphics cards at all times.

The reason I ask, is because Im wondering myself.

I have the .43 drivers today, and I saw that .78 drivers are the latest.

So how important is it to upgrade?

Read the release notes for the new drivers.
If any problems you have been experiencing have been fixed in the latest build, upgrade. If everything is running fine, and none of the fixes listed apply to you, don't.

Usually new driver builds have new functions added, and probably performance is boosted. (but as kruzin suggested this may not necessarily be the case)
