It's incredible. I have buy a card like a ferrari but it run like a fiat 500. Matrox enfatizes some features of the card at the parhelia launch. QUAD TEXTURING 64 .... VERTEX SHADERS 2.0 ETC. bUT WHERE ARE THEASE FEATURES?
I want to send back my parhelia card.

It is time for the GFFX?

I must admit that their stance towards those missing features are questionable, why do we have to ask them for the features that are adverticed on the box?

I mean, this isn“t normal procedure, right?
This sig is a shameless atempt to make my post look bigger.

Come on Matrox! Give us a explonation on this! Why is it several feautures in your web spesification that's NOT in the drivers for the card, and NOT considerd important!

I don't know how the laws are in Canada, but in Norway it is ilegal to sell a product that doesn't match the spesifications the company gives!

It's suposed to suport Vertex Shader 2.0 but not Pixel Shader 2.0

If Matrox makes up another lie as excuse on not suporting this I will also consider geting my money back!

Are you saying that the Parhelia is not doing quad texturing?

There is already a thread going about Parhelia's features (or apparent lack thereof).
I don't think we need another.

the "64 super sample texture filtering" white paper you linked to, only states 64 samples per clock, and with a 4 pipe architecture, this would mean 16 samples per pixel, which is what "tap 2" actually means. I think everybody including me and all the reviewers misunderstood that particlar "word game".
