matrox monitor manager

can someone explain to me how to use this utility. i can create the settings i want, but i have no idea how to set the monitor to those settings.

Right click on the monitor that you've configured and click "use monitor model"

i have tried that to no avail. after the pc reboots, i still don't have the option i created on the display properties, settings tab.

I'd suggest posting in the Matrox support forum monday. I'm sure they could help you out.
