WinXP.Control Panel.Display Settings

In the display listing box in WinXP.Control Panel.Display Settings: item 1 lists my HP P1110 monitor but item 2 indicates a "default monitor" instead of my Phillips 201P.

I don't know if this makes any difference as all seams to be working well. I am just trying to clean up some loose threads.

Any suggestions welcome

If you're getting the res and refresh you want, there is no problem.
P should get the limits of the monitors from their DDC signal, and assuming the DDC signals from the monitors are correct, all should be fine.
