P650 Scroll Speed ??

Hello Everybody,

I have substituted my G400 for an P650 a few weeks ago, it is a great deal sharper than my previous G400, and it works great on my 21" monitor.

However there is one thing, when I am in such a forum such as the Matrox users, there is always the option to scroll using the scroll button of the mouse. I have the impression that this was much and much quicker using the G400. Will I have to change some settings ?

I am using Windows XP Pro, DirectX 9.0b, and i am using a resolution of 1600x1200@85Hz and Gigacolor enabled in PowerDesk HF.

You could try disabling "smooth scrolling" or so in IE (I _think_ it can be disabled), or change the number of lines the mousewheel scrolls at once in your mouse properties.

The strange thing is that I did not change anyhting to that So I do not believe that it should have any influence.

IME Parhelia's scrolling is faster than G400.

Well I guess it is somehow fixed the scrolling issue, it was something like the 3 line scrolling indeed! Sigh... how stupid to post a question over here then! Thank you everybody!

Hi, Willems!

Is it easy to get the P650 in Netherland? It's just impossible to buy it in Germany. I have all other components for the new computer but the graphics card!
If it's only a problem in Germany, maybe I should arrange a 650 buying trip. It totally absurd!

I ordered it via an Internet store in the Netherlands, it took some time though. However it arrived the 15 of july after a week or three more or less. You could try the matrox shop that is shipping it..
