    Surroung compeditor?

    Asus with a surround 3 monitor card?!?!
    what do u guys think?
    it claims to have surround gaming? I think matrox has competition guys.

      That's just ATI's SurroundView - AFAIK it's not got a unified framebuffer for 3d stuff so essentially useless for surround gaming (despite what Asus claim on this site...)

          Yeah, I believe there were already at least one thread on here about that. It's just the mother board that comes with the ATI 9100 IGP (Integrated Graphics Port, I think..) and a Dual-Display card from ATI. It's not an all in one card sharing the same frame buffer that is required for a 3D game to go on three screens. Maybe someone should email Asus on this? Does Matrox have "Surround Gaming" trademarked?

              I thought so. besides no other company has expierience with multimonitor gaming, as most of us saw an fx 5900 running dual monitor gaming and burning out, as well as the 9800 heatting up and giving graphic problems in high temps of 80-90 c? :P
