I wrote that MGATweak a while back ago. It used to be able to download from here, but I just checked that the download page is not ready. You should be able to 'google' it. It's the only MGA tweaking tools (and the last one perhaps....) designed for MGA, and allows clock multipliers changes.

      Good luck!

mgatweak is still available from this site, but you need to go to the 'old news page' to get there.

nah, it's the simple fact that even if you do overclock it you get nothing out of it. it won't run any of the newer games at all, and it will suck at most of the previous generation of games too. back in 99 or 2000 when it was still on the "current" side of technology, it would have made a difference. now... well... there is no benefit... even the bragging rights are limited - "oh yeah, well I got a G400 up to 200Mhz" "dude, my memory isn't even that slow anymore"

the fact that current generation hardware does everything that it can do, and almost all the time it does better, certainly doesn't help.

You're right DGhost, but I think he is doing it simply for the sake of it... So he would see if it can be done. The exploration factor, "I did it first" factor... They all come in to play. So who cares if it is an old card or the latest and greatest?

                      I say - go Alby!

That's what I've got in my mind thanks Goran (Cool your CPU)

For DGhost take in mind 1 thing please. I've got 6 3Dfx board since Voodoo 1 to Voodoo 5 and I can tell you that (thanks to the drivers by AMIGAMERLIN) I can still play modern games. No words facts.

I still haev my G400 MAX hanging around, and was tempted to clock it, but would rather keep it for a future HTPC box...
As for my Voodoo 5 5500, i think i'm gonna frame it.
