    DVI add-on

    Is it still possible to buy the DVI addon for the G400? Does it plug into the 25 pin "J1" port on the underside of the card? And does it output digital DVI or just analogue?

      Proabably yes, but it will also proabably cost as much as 2nd hand or new G550 or other DVI capable card.

          Yeah it outputs only DVI. I don't remember what max resolution, either 1280x1024 or 1600x1200. Your best bet is emailing Matrox and asking. Otherwise you can try you luck searching on goole for 'G400 DVI daughter board' or something similar to that. It was around $100 though.

              The DVI addon and the dualhead addon are mutually exclusive, correct?
