Yup still using the Parhelia in my main machine. Suits the current purposes v. well. BUT I am shortly going to build a new gaming machine which will not have a Matrox card in ... probably would still refer to the machine with the P in it as my "main" machine though.

Still have a Parhelia in my home rig, but its incompatibility with Windows MCE2005 sucks and it might prove the reason to get a new card...anyway, I've had it for nearly 2 and a half years, the longest time I've ever had a single graphics card

Nope, FireGL 8800. G400Max was very good, but I wanted better 3D performance while still having good signal IQ and as much Linux/OSS compatibility as possible.

Edit: Should add: Also wanted something with shaders so I could play NOLF2 (which I still haven't got yet!)

Hm, LLM -> Lovely Lovely Matrox?

                    LLM>long live matrox
                    IAAR>I am a realist

but yours sound so mutch better

meh... me dreaming of getting a 3dlabs Wildacat Realism 800.... especialy after lastnights episod with combustion and particals for a 1m shot..... gave up after i saw it was taking 30sec/frame for a not too complex setup.....

i need a new everything... MBD, CPU (DualCPU Dual core would be nice) memory, and defentivly a new GFX that can handle OGL better than anything...

personly i would prefer buying a quad CPU SGI staion for HD... but i have to keep my dreams slightly realistic... or so the doctor sais to me
