P650 3D capabilities

Hello,

I was wondering what are the 3D capabilities of the Matrox P650 ?

I'm using it for video editing but i sometimes need a break for gaming.
I don't want to run Doom 3 but old games.

Could someone tell me what Geforce generation is similar to P650 about 3D performance ?
Is P650 at the level of a Geforce 1, or 2 ? Maybe 3 ?

It's speed-wise at GeForce2 Generation, although it has DX8.1 features. This is not as important as most old games use DX7 and newer games use mostly DX9, they are also probably too slow for P650.

You can do a search for P750 review (P750 = P650 with 3d head enabled, slightly higher clock and fan).

Afaik dZeus's P650 has a clock of 250MHz for core, but the P650 and P750 have half the pipes and memory bus width of Parhelia.

The new P650 PCIe might be clocked higher.
