turbo gl crashes to desktop

I just installed 5.30 drivers and then tried to fire up Half Life, Unreal (under ogl), and Quake III. They just drop me back to a messed up desktop. I checked my turbo gl manager and it says they are all installed correctly. What am I doing wrong.

Have you done a thorough uninstall of the drivers? goto Matrox tech support page and read away...

I've tried that a couple of times. The only thing I can think of is left over 3dfx drivers from my V2sli that I took out. Could that be causing my crashing d3d works fine and ogl worked good w/5.25 now nothing.
