How does the Glide emulator driver work on the G400?

I know when i had a Viper 550 agp 16 meg, i used the glide emulator driver from creative labs and it ran smooth fast and pretty. How does the available glide emulator for the g400 work? And where can I find it? Thx Jediphoenix
