System Shock 2 & Direct X 7.0

Hi People,

Should Sys Shock 2 run o.k with DX 7.0 or will it only work on DX 6.1.

I had the game working about a month ago with DX 6.1 installed.

I re-installed the game last night with DX 7.0 installed and the game loads o.k and the front selection menu shows o.k but after I select new game and it loads the start level all I get is a black screen with repeating sound. I then have to boot with my systems reset button to get out of it.

Any help would be great!

Mellow SS2 works fine with DX7 but if you are running the 5.41 powerdesk that is your problem. Right now only 5.30 and below are compatible with SS2. Matrox is working on a fix as we speak. Jediphoenix
