screen res and bpp

Anyone got opinion of the best res and whether 16 bit or 32 bit for Quakeworld , UT and Q3 . Some reviews indicate that it performs ok at low res but excells at higher resolutions .

I average about 45~50fps in single player. Only occasional slow-downs. Mostly when a lot of bots on screen w/ chainguns.1024x768x32 most options on high! Some flickering textures.

i was under the hope that some of you may reply to this as i believe the g400 will excell at higher fps and 32 bpp but i just wondered at what res in your opinion the card excelled .

The G400 excells at 32bit colors with powerful processors compared to other video cards. You will still get a performance decrease when switching from 16bit to 32bit.

I run 32bit color in 1024x748 in every game except Q3A.
