win2k and q2

i just installed win2k and tried out q2...when i open q2...the screen goes black as if going into dos and then it turns back to windows...happenz all the time...anybody know why? i have build 2195 of win2k which supposedly is the final release and a g400 max

Please some more system details: MOBO/CPU/RAM&amount/Peripherals/any PCI-ISA devices/etc. etc.

Rename the opengl32.dll in the Quake primary directory.

It doesn't like the TurboGL dll.

Fixed mine up perfectly, and I had the exact same symptoms.
