Half-life Autoexec.cfg Tweaks for G400 Max?

I was wondering if anyone possibly had any commands to insert into the halflife autoexec.cfg to increase the FPS in halflife on a G400 Max card? Thanks.

Hye, stupid question. Is there any way to tell that the autoexec file took? The reason I ask is because I created this file and one of the settings are to not detect a joystick, but everytime I start a game, it says 'joystick found'.

It will detect the joystick, regardless of that setting.
I get the same thing on mine.
But with the command running, it wont's actually use the detected joystick...

Kruzin, not for the one or the other, but you could point people to the FAQs, and to the FAQ Archive

For some games like that, there's a .cfg settings in games thread in the FAQs...

I would just like more info on those games, and others to keep that thread upwards more....
