How to update Unreal (the first one) manually

What would that look like, Maggi? Are you playing Unreal then in a UT environment, or UT in the Unreal environment?

Btw, those drivers? If they come today wouldn't they come around 5pm Canadian time?

it seems to use the UT engine to run Unreal as sort of mod ...

I think the coders simply updated their existing Unreal engine when they started with UT.

That's nothing short of a shock, is it? Didn't they say so when UT was released, that it was an upgraded Unreal engine they used?

Well at least this was totally new to me and I thought I'd let you know, because I think Unreal is still a great game with unique and yet unbeaten athmosphere.

Unfortunately my disks are pretty stuffed and I forgot to get some CDs for burning ..

Anyway, I hope it does work to revive it once more.

How to update Unreal (the first one) manually

Hi Guys,

some folks over at 3dfiles found out that you can copy the latest UT/system files to your Unreal/system folder and simply launch the UT.exe ...

It seems that Unreal will be taken as a mod or something and all those guys who tried it saw a big increase in performance, stability and less artifacts in D3D compared to the latest 225f patch.

GO figure ... I'll try to find some time over the weekend and give it a shot for myself and this should also work for the sequel 'Return to Nali Pa'.

This looks to me like an inofficial update for an old game ...
