My quake3a is lagging

When i installed quake3 at this time it went ok the first days.. but now it laggs it is not much but when i run it lagg just for a
nano sec or something..
What can it be?
i have tried to reinstall it but nothing helps..

Abit BP6
dual celeron 525mhz
Matrox millenium g400 sh 32mb
128mb ram
30gb hddrive
sblive
