Using PD6 beta driver with Q3A -- can't alt-tab?

I am not using TurboGL driver (PD beta 6 drivers) with Q3A. Are you guys having problems when using alt-tab in Q3A game? I can go to desktop, but when I return I get white flicker screen. I have to exit the game by ~ and quit command.

Is it just me? I think it is the buggy beta drivers (yes I know they are beta), but I wasn't sure if it my computer? Anyone else?

Alt tab has been disabled in all TGL versions that I know of, except maybe the first, and it caused crashes. All miniGL type drivers I have seen/used have problems with Alt-tab. Hell, even nVidia's latest drivers don't Alt-Tab on the GeSpot 2 I just tested.

Hmm, that's interesting. Then, how come my alt-tab keys work? [grin] Q3A did work with the alt-tab in PD v5.xx versions. Hmm! Oh well, I am waiting for v6.x final.

Dunno, sometimes it's disabled if it causes problems. Better to have it do nothing than crash your system, right?

Ya. My computer didn't crash though. Q3A just flickered. It still works cuz I can hear sounds.
