Madden 2001 and G400

EA games are the bomb. The only problem is, Madden 2001 runs like crap on my G400, and I would assume even worse on my Viper II. I have tweaked a lot of the settings (lowered detail levels...), and I almost have an acceptable frame rate. I know my processor kind of sucks (p2 350), but the frame rate really sucks with the default settings. If anybody knows a way around this, please let me know.

Sorry, in Madden 2001's readme.txt, it warns that running on any less than a P450 will require knocking down the visuals. I would turn off all the options such as footprints, shadows, and degrading field, etc, and go with 800x640 at 16 bit.

So is there that much of a performance boost in 16 bit instead of 32 bit?

16-bit is always faster than 32-bit on my system, and I think for all systems.
