Marvel G400-tv and Quake2

I'm using a PIII-500-128Ram Win98se and a marvel g400-tv, but when I try to run Quake2 my screen turns black for about 3 seconds and then return to Windows.
Can someone tell me what drivers i need to install, OpenGl? DirectX and that sort a stuff.

more info like what motherboard do you possess,what driver version are you using for your G400-tv,other hardware details & system irqs would be helpful.you should also have DX7a installed
