I Can not select 1280 x 1024 in the Blair Witch part 1

Does anyone know why I can not select 1280 x 1024 in the Blair Witch part 1, the max. res. I can select is 1280*980?

My system specs:
Intel PIII 650 on a 100Mhz Chaintech with 384Mb Memory
Creative Sb Live Value
Matrox G400 Max
Windows ME english with the latest drivers from Creative and Matrox

I can select 1280*1024 in all my other games 16 and 32bit (like Nocturne)
