Deus Ex - drivers, DX, Win2k

Okay, so here's the question:

Has anybody noticed much of a difference with the new 5.20 drivers?

Has anybody noticed much of a difference with DX8?

Any other bugs (than the wallpaper) that DX8 has brought to anybody's attention? And just how does it corrupt the wallpaper anyway?

After installing the Direct3D-Beta-"Patch" I didn't notice any further speed-improvements, not with the new Matrox drivers, not with DirectX 8.

Hmm, interesting. Maybe only certain games are really benefitting from the new drivers/dx8?

Well, that sucks. I'm probably going to be hitting up some 5.20 this weekend and maybe some dx8, so if I do I'll be sure to post the results. Won't have benchmarks, though, too lazy.
