    Mechwarrior 4

Anyone pick this game up yet? I was curious to see how good it is. I'm short of cash this time of the year with holidays etc, but was wondering how good it is.

I pretty much feel this is a "MUST have" game. The graphics are phenominal to say the least. The terrain is the best I've seen and the explosions/special effects are outstanding. I'm experiencing a little chopiness but I think it may be config related or possibly even drvier related and not to do with the game. I haven't tried to tweak it yet but will soon. It has everything you could ask for in a Mech game and more! I joined a league so if anyone here is interested in joining, let me know. This clan I'm in is very much into honor as opposed to "whatever it takes to win". So if this is your cup of tea, let me know.

So far the multiplayer stuff is big fun for me. The visual quality of some of the maps is really remarkable (e.g., central park), and great netcode. Hard for me to tell I'm on line with a modem.

Be aware that a lot of people are finishing the single player portion in 10-15 hours (I've already gone through the first 6-7 out of 25 in a couple hours). So if you're not interested in multiplayer stuff, not much play time per buck.

Clan? I thought we must already have a clan and have been using the [MU] as my clan designation.
