G400 or G450 for gaming?

Hi

Im putting together a machine from the spare parts floating around in the lab. It will mainly be used for text editing and gaming. I have a choice of G400 and G450 as graphics card in the machine - which one is best for gaming, and is 2D output the same quality on these two cards? (I have heard that OpenGL should run better on the G400 - is that right?)

Go for the G400MAX, as it´s a tad faster than the G450. As for 2D, I don´t see a difference apart from better quality (RAMDAC) in DualHead only.

Even the regular G400 is faster than the G450. Don´t worry, almost every G400 overclock preety close to MAX speeds (150/200). And I doubt you need a 360 Mhz RAMDAC

Yeah, get the G400. Even at stock speeds its faster than the G450... kinda sad.

Unfortunately I do not have the G400MAX as a choice - only G400 and G450
