    TFC gaming

    Every time i pl ay tfc my pc freezes. i can sill see the game going on around me but i cant control anything, and i cant ctrl-aly-del out of it either.
    i have to power down and reboot.
    i have a matrox g400, any suggestions?

      A lot of us around here play TFC, but for us to help, we'll need more info/details, such as operating system, hardware, etc.

                          yes it has duel pr 450's but as i understand it only uses one since win98 doesnt support it

                                  Has this started happening since the 1.1.0.7 patch, and are you running in OpenGl mode?
                                  My system has been crashing TFC ever since the 1107 patch. Then I swapped to running in D3D mode and its been fine ever since.

                                  I think the 1107 patch and Matrox dont like each other.
                                  Athlon XP-64/3200, 1gb PC3200, 512mb Radeon X1950Pro AGP, Dell 2005fwp, Logitech G5, IBM model M.

                                      i noticed as it froze this time
                                      framerate dropped from 13 to 7

                                      and what ever else the netgraph measures jumped to

                                      300+ in
                                      24+ out
                                      does this make any sence to anyone?

                                          Can't help much but to say I've had ZERO problems with the latest patch... My FPS went UP by a noticable amount, btw.

                                              im using d3d now and it desnt crash but im only gett 6fps so i have to retweak everything
                                              kinda annoying but at leas i get to play
