constant problems with g450 in HL:Counter-Strike

.. i just cant play any more.. the problem is that after a short time of gaming my system crashes, everything just hungs and i have to reboot... i have a PIIICoppermine 866Mhz+256PC133 ram and a Matrox Millennium g450 DH 32MB video card..

i use OpenGL with 800*600 resolution, it shuldnt be too much for a 32MB card, but whats the problem then? i have tried different settings using the MTU tweaker, but nothing seems to help..
maybe its a WinXP problem (thats the OS i use), or maybe a OpenGL problem?

if you think its a openGL problem, then try to play with software?

    btw, g450 in cs= 30fps. hate it!

      Bullshit.

G450 in CS is near 60 fps at 800, and around 50 steady with 1024.

Do a search for CS and HL/TFC in this forum. This has been covered very well.
