you dumbass. I wonder if that even deserves a response. You're saying that it has NO openGL support? 'cause that's what linux uses.

A video card isn't DirectX only, that would be stupid. DirectX is only an API (application programming interface) That'd be like creating a car that only people who work at microsoft could drive.

KeiFront I assume that the Voodoo 5 is PCI if it's in the same machine as your Parhelia but how does it perform? with both card in the same system =) Oh and what OS do you use?

Yep the voodoo5 is a PCI version and it's still in my main rig together with my Parhelia and i'm using Win2K.

Altough my Parhelia died today parhelia isn't detected anymore I hope I will have a replacement asap.

I only use the Voodoo 5 to get independant resolutions across all 3 screens. Previously I used it together with my G400MAX for gaming.

Nowadays I mainly play RTCW in surround gaming, it takes some time to get used to,but it's great and you get addicted to it .

The performance is decent enough for me, with surround gaming I get about 25-30 fps (3072*768) in the big maps (e.g. marketgarden). Ut2003 Demo (all settings maxed) plays great even in surround gaming.

I'm sorry to hear about your Parhelia dying m8 and I hope it all gets sorted The main temptation for putting the 2 in the one rig was for GLide as I tried it with a Radeon setup and the voodoo 5 hated it.
