ut2003 triple head to single head stuttering

ive just moved back to uni and can only take 1 screen with me, i had ut2003 set up at home triple head 3072x768 16xfaa and aniso with no problems at all all details maxed out, now i used apptimizer to bring it back to single head gaming and when i play the game now it stutters about every 3 second no matter what quality with faa and aniso turned off at 1024x768, it used to do this when i ran kazaa along side of it but now i have all other programs off, any ideas what the problem is?running xp pro on an athlon xp and asusa7v333

You may want to try this:
Delete your UT2003.ini file and reapply the ver 2166 update for UT2003. If it's a problem with the game setup that will fix it.

thanks but no joy, im gonna reinstall it how do i keep my in game profiles?

Copy the User.ini somewhere safe and copy back after the reinstall
