G400MAX matches GeForce 256?

I'm just wondering if my G400MAX beats GeForce 256. I'm not much of a 3D gamer, but there is that one game which is coming out, and I want seriously to try.
Btw, Warcraft III has been runing quite nicely, although I suspect that I have been pushing my old G400 to the limit

If the GF256 is listed as the minimum, it's probably because it needs hardware T&L, which no pre-Parhelia Matrox card has. (No, the G550 doesn't count.)

Although it's been mentioned before that T&L (and shaders) can be emulated in software. Look for the NOLF2 threads in this forum, it's mentioned in there.

Just from the screenshots i can tell you that game is not gonna run on any other matrox card then the parhelia.
